U.S. Sen. John Hoeven, Republican from North Dakota, told media this week that he hadn't read the whistleblower report that alleges President Trump tried to pressure Ukraine into investigating a political rival and that the White House tried to cover up the phone call.
So, since the senator is clearly a busy man, podcast host Mike McFeely reads the entire nine-page document for Hoeven's benefit. Perhaps the senator can listen on a plane flight home, and maybe he'll share it with fellow Republicans who are too busy to inform themselves of a U.S. president abusing his power for personal political benefit.
